Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) is headquartered in Tyngsboro, MA with offices in Stafford, VA supporting Department of Defense and Department of State customers. KMI has the leadership and experience to deliver innovative technology and management solutions to meet real mission requirements. KMI is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Business (SB) that specializes in Distance Learning/Training, Enterprise Solutions, Financial Management Support, Program Management, Data Analytics/Operations Research, and Logistics/Operational Support. Since 1998, our solutions and services have helped our clients improve performance, drive cost and operational effectives, and map technology needs for tomorrow’s requirements.

HISTORY
Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Tyngsboro, MA. KMI’s original charter focused on providing staff augmentation and technology-based recruiting for both Federal and Commercial clients. During these early years, KMI became very efficient at providing quality candidates at competitive prices and built a reputation as a company that could be relied upon to support our customers by providing critical labor resource staffing functions.
As the company organization grew, so did its qualifications and capabilities to support total project lifecycle requirements. Since inception, KMI has matured from a recruiting firm to a full-spectrum solutions provider; and from a resource provider to a total services provider. Our team of industry leaders guide our customers through the known and unknown difficulties of mission readiness, using a “to be” perspective grounded in experience working with some of the world’s largest organizations. Today’s face of KMI includes engineers, architects, technologists, financial subject matter experts, electronic courseware designers, logisticians, and strategic planners; all of whom are focused on our clients’ needs.
In 2016, KMI expanded its presence into the National Capital Region (NCR), opening our Northern Virginia Operations Office in Stafford, VA. From this office, KMI supports numerous customers including the Department of Defense and Department of State.
In 2017, KMI achieved its goals of being certified as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2015 compliant; and in 2018 achieved certification as a CMMI Level 2-Services company.
